Sending parcels to Poland: what you can send and what is prohibited
A clear list of what may travel in a parcel from Scotland to Poland, what is banned, and how to pack so nothing arrives damaged.
What you can send
Clothing and shoes, books, toys, tools, bedding, kitchenware, small household appliances, baby equipment, bicycles (pedals off), documents, and gifts for family. Anything that fits within 30 kg per box travels on the standard tariff.
What is prohibited
Alcohol and tobacco, cash and valuables, prescription and over-the-counter medicines, weapons and ammunition, pressurised containers and aerosols, flammable liquids, live animals and plants, and perishable food.
Packing that survives the road
Use double-walled boxes for heavy items, fill voids with paper or foam so nothing shifts, tape along every seam in an H pattern, and never exceed 30 kg per box — a box that cannot be lifted safely will be handled badly.
Fragile items
Plates travel on edge, glassware in a divided box, electronics ideally in their original carton with the accessories bagged separately.
Labelling
Write the recipient's full name, street, postcode, town and mobile number on the box and put a copy of the same details inside. Remove old courier labels.

Can I send alcohol to Poland?
No, alcohol and tobacco are excluded from our service.
