The price of £40 and £50 includes the preparation of the CN22/CN23 customs declaration. Private shipments (gifts, second-hand items) up to GBP 39 are exempt from VAT in the UK. For commercial shipments, the recipient's EORI is required, and customs duties and VAT are charged by the British office according to the value of the goods and paid by the recipient - this is a state fee, not ours.
