How to transport a motorcycle from Scotland to Poland step by step
Step1: Online application and quote

Step4: Door to door collection in Scotland

Where do we pick up motorbikes in Scotland?

Loading and securing the motorcycle for transport
Loading is the moment when motorcycle damage most often occurs. We always follow the same procedure - regardless of whether we pick up a functional motorcycle from home or a machine after a collision from the workshop.
Step1: Preparing the motorcycle before collection
Please leave no more than 1/4 of the fuel tank, fold the mirrors, remove any loose items (cases, GPS, navigation) and hand over the key. The motorcycle does not have to be registered or roadworthy.
Step2: Bus drive up and up the ramp
The bus arrives at the indicated address - home, workshop, commission or auction site. We enter the motorcycle on an aluminum ramp with a non-slip surface; We winch faulty motors.
Step3: Set up in a transport cradle
The front wheel is locked in a wheel chock, which immobilizes the motorcycle vertically. Thanks to this, the machine does not rest on the side stand and cannot tip over when cornering.
Step4: Fastening with ratchet straps
We use a minimum of 4 ratchet straps with soft loops - two through the handlebar or upper fork shelves, two on the rear frame/footpegs. We only partially load the suspension so as not to damage the fork seals.
Step5: Protection of paint and accessories
We wrap the contact points of the belts with foam and foil, we cover the fairings and the tank with transport blankets, and we secure the levers and mirrors separately. Motorcycles are kept in separate bays - they never touch each other or other cargo.
Step6: Photographic documentation and protocol
Before closing the bus, we take photos of the motorcycle from all sides and write down a condition report (mileage, damage, equipment). We confirm the same protocol when unloading at the destination address.
Step7: Door to door unloading
Once on site, we remove the belts in the reverse order, slide down the ramp and hand over the motorcycle along with the key and photo documentation to the recipient.

An adult must be present during collection and delivery to hand over or collect the motorcycle, key and documents and to sign the condition report. It can be a friend, family, dealer or service - just provide us with their phone number when booking.
Yes. In addition to motorcycles, we transport scooters, 50 cc mopeds, quads, minicrosses and enduro motorcycles without registration. Scooters and mopeds have the lowest rate from £350, and quads are priced individually based on width - mounting and insurance are the same as motorcycles.
A motorcycle owned by you and transported as part of a move or resettlement property is exempt from customs duties and VAT. For a motorcycle purchased in the UK after Brexit, customs duty (usually 6%) and VAT 23% are due in Poland, calculated on the invoice value and transport costs - we prepare a set of documents for the customs declaration.
To register, you need a British V5C, proof of purchase, customs clearance document, confirmation of excise duty payment (motorcycles over 125 ccm) and a sworn translation of documents and a technical examination in Poland. Our CMR and transport invoice are accepted as proof of import for customs valuation purposes.
Yes, we run courses all year round. The motorcycle rides in a closed, covered bus, so there is no contact with road salt, rain or snow. In winter, please disconnect the battery or provide information that the motorcycle is out of order - then loading is done with a winch.
